Michaela Bolosan, M.A., BCBA

Program Supervisor

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Michaela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision in 2007. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she became interested in working with the special needs population, especially with youth and children, and began working in an elementary school as a special education assistant. While working at the school, her interest developed into working specifically with behavioral issues. While researching different careers, she stumbled upon applied behavior analysis (ABA) and instantly became fascinated. She began her journey into the ABA world, working in various environments as a line therapist with children and teens with different disabilities. While working as a line therapist, Michaela became proficient in using Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment (VB-MAPP) and Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R). As she gained hands-on experience, Michaela completed her master’s degree program through Ball State University. She earned her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis degree in 2012 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2014.

Since becoming board certified, Michaela continues to develop and grow in different areas of ABA and began working with people of all ages including children, teens, and adults. Michaela began using the Carolina Curriculum and became fluent in using the PEAK assessment and Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS). She began consulting and conducting trainings with different agencies and families on behavior interventions. After working in different environments and using ABA techniques and principles in different capacities, Michaela’s interests in ABA has expanded into the Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) field. In 2018, Michaela completed Florida Institute of Technology’s OBM Applied! Certification program. Although she is passionate about implementing different skill acquisition programs and using Natural Environment Teaching (NET) when possible, Michaela especially enjoys working with individuals to improve social interaction and community outing skills.
