The founder of GBC aba, Stephanie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst specializing in Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), and the treatment of children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities. She has been working with this population since 1999. Stephanie has professional experience as a behavior analyst, special educator, and behavioral consultant in school settings, in-home programs, adult day programs, residential programs, and business. Stephanie received her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
In March 2013, she founded GBC aba to meet the growing need for quality ABA services. She is passionate about helping transform the lives of her clients and their families through a progressive approach to ABA. Her research interests include the clinical implementation of empirically-validated treatment techniques, OBM, ABA for health and fitness, and behavioral gerontology. She has presented her research at the annual international professional conference for ABA (ABAI) and is continually looking for more speaking, presenting, and training opportunities.
Stephanie currently serves as a board member and the president-elect for the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis (ILABA). She is also a professional member of Applied Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), the OBM Network, the ABA Health Sports and Fitness Special Interest Group (SIG), and the Behavioral Gerontology SIG. Through her education and training she has acquired a solid foundation in advocacy, outreach, community organizing, and administration.
