Stephanie is currently finishing her last semester as a Master’s student at
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. She received her undergraduate degree from The State University of New York, Potsdam (SUNY Potsdam) with a major in Psychology and a minor in Speech Communication. Stephanie was first introduced to the field of ABA when she was in high school. Later, when she was attending SUNY Potsdam, she completed two internships with St. Lawrence Day Habilitation Center where she wrote and implemented behavior intervention and reduction plans. Her more recent experience includes working with a typically developing adult and teaching her how to apply ABA principles in her everyday life, and working in home and in school with children who are on the autism spectrum. Stephanie has a wide variety of experience, which helps her to adjust to any given situation.

Stephanie’s professional experience includes working with both adults and children, both typically developing, and with individuals who have developmental disabilities. She is experienced with Discrete Trial Training procedures, using augmentative and alternative communication devices such as Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), and writing and implementing behavior reduction plans. In the future, Stephanie plans to continue her education and work with children to help them reach their full potential.
