Chrishunda is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) master’s student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rockford College in 2013. Chrishunda began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 2009, where she fell in love with gerontology and helping others achieve their goals. To gain experience working with children, she took on the role of Program Assistant at a summer school created for low-income children with below average math and reading levels, and classroom disruptive behaviors. During this experience, she saw the importance of decreasing disruptive classroom behaviors to create a more positive and effective learning environment, not only for the learner, but for everyone in the classroom. She has also spent time working with adults with mental illnesses, helping them to problem solve and overcome life challenges.
