Who Are We?

Passion and compassion are important character traits Stephanie Gorbold, founder and president, seeks in those who work at GBC aba. Our person-centered techniques lead to the best possible outcomes for the client because they are the central focus of all we undertake and accomplish. We approach each client as a unique opportunity to transform not only that individual but those who interact with that client from parents and siblings to teachers and employers. Our goal is to bring a positive impact and increase the quality of life for those with whom we work.

What is ABA Therapy?

GBC aba’s objective is to increase behavioral independence for individuals affected by ASD by turning goals into outcomes. Each goal is achieved by providing evidence based treatment with a focus on individuals with developmental needs and challenging behaviors by fostering adaptive skills. We work with you, the caregiver, too, encouraging and working with you in order to carry what we do in an ABA session into the child or adult’s broader environs at home, school, play, community, and/or work.

How Can We Help?

GBC aba is a one-stop shop of support. In addition to ABA therapy, we also assist with resources to help you and your family. For example, we have a database of grants and financial support to assist you with the many costs of having a child with autism. We have a parent advocate to help you navigate through social services that may be available to you and your family or attend your child’s IEP with you. We offer services for individuals from birth through adulthood because we realize this is a lifelong journey. It is our hope to support you for many years to come providing continuity of care.  We’re willing to walk beside you for as long as you choose GBC aba.
