Who Are We?

Passion and compassion are important character traits that Stephanie Gorbold – founder and president – seeks in those who work at GBC aba. Our person-centered techniques lead to the best possible outcomes for the client because clients are the central focus of all we do. We approach each client as a unique opportunity to transform not only that individual but also those who interact with that client including parents, siblings, teachers, and employers. Our goal is to create a positive impact and improve the quality of life of those with whom we work.

LEARN ABOUT US

What is ABA Therapy?

GBC aba’s objective is to increase behavioral independence for individuals affected by ASD. We do this by turning goals into outcomes. With our focus on individuals with developmental needs and challenging behaviors, we achieve each goal by fostering and encouraging adaptive skills. Each goal is achieved by providing evidence-based treatment with a focus on individuals with developmental needs and challenging behaviors by fostering adaptive skills. We work with you, the caregiver, as well. We help and encourage you to carry what we do in an ABA session into the child’s or adult’s broader environs at home, school, play, community, and/or work. We hope you will contact GBC aba to determine if we are a good fit and let us meet your family’s needs. If, however, we cannot serve you, we will help you find a provider who can.

How Can We Help?

GBC aba is a one-stop shop of support. In addition to ABA therapy, we also assist with resources to help you and your family. For example, we have a database of grants and financial support to assist you with the many costs associated with having a child with autism. We have a parent advocate to help you navigate social services that may be available to you and your family or attend your child’s IEP with you. We offer services for individuals from birth through adulthood because we realize this is a lifelong journey. We hope to provide continuity of care by supporting you for many years to come. We’re willing to walk beside you for as long as you choose GBC aba.
